About Me

Hi, I'm Kaitlin Isaac — a flutist, music educator, and passionate advocate for the power of school music programs. I first picked up the flute in fourth grade, and that moment sparked a lifelong love of music that led me to the podium as a band director.

After several years teaching middle school band (through a pandemic, no less), I stepped away from the classroom to explore a new creative path in design and technology. But even as I built new skills and worked on exciting projects, I never stopped missing the joy of working with young musicians.

After a move to Buffalo and meeting so many wonderful students and amazing teachers through my work as a substitute teacher, I'm thrilled about the prospect of returning to the classroom fulltime. Substituting in the Williamsville Central School District has reminded me of what I love most—helping students find confidence, connection, and creativity through music.

This website is both a portfolio of my teaching and a reflection of my design work. I built it myself to showcase who I am: a dedicated educator, lifelong learner, and someone who believes deeply in the impact of music education.
