About Me

Hi! I'm Kaitlin.

After spending the beginning of my career as a music educator, I am now transferring my skills designing lessons and materials for my students into creating beautiful and functional products for users as a User Experience Designer.

Outside of work, I love running outside, doing arts and crafts, and spending time with my husband and my dog, Basil.

As a Designer

My design philosophy draws deeply from my experiences as an educator Data driven decisions have been my compass ensuring equity and transparency While predictability structures the experience it s the creativity within that structure which keeps it vibrant and engaging Whether it s in the classroom or at my desk the end goal remains the same design experiences that resonate inform and inspire

As a Teacher

As an educator, my highest priorities are keeping students at the center of the lesson, and using data to drive learning decisions. In my classroom, students would access music at all different levels and abilities. From playing games and utilizing technology, to performing in individual and group settings; students were given the opportunity to express their creativity through music.
